Car Insurance, costly but worth it
Tuesday, January 09, 2007
Man I'm only 23 but I've have some pretty bad experiences with Car Insurance. My friend had to pay through the roof because he had a BMW and he's young, whereas my brother, a worse driver, paid less than 25% of his premium because he had a junker and a 4-door, maybe no one wanted to steal it. My dad also got a ticket and didn't have his insurance renewed and couldn't get his car back without having insurance, so it's not only expensive and needed. That's the breaks with Car Insurance. Too bad we're not in the UK, since Insure121 got a nice site with quotes on both Car Insurance and Home Insurance, we could've used it. They even got travel and pet insurance, so they got all the bases covered.
Check them out for your insurance needs, URL is www.insure121.com,

San Diego Visit?
Monday, December 18, 2006
Man it's getting pretty cold in Montreal right now and I wouldn't mind spending some spending some of my time in somewhere a little warmer that I haven't been to before, maybe somewhere like San Francisco or San Diego to visit some of the friends I have in California. Never been so it wouldn't be cool to there, rent a car from this San Diego car rental place, and just relax and cruise the strip, lol. Maybe I'm just daydreaming or something, but I'm sure a student like me would love to do this since it's cheap and easier than going into a local rental place. Check it out,

Survival Kit - Do you have one
Thursday, December 07, 2006
I've been reading at Digg about the disappearance and tragic death of James Kim and his family. Fortunitely his family was found save and sound but he seems to have perished from frostbite. The way him and his family were stuck in the Oregon wilderness makes you think about what would you do if you were stuck and lost without food or power.
Well there's another article on Digg about a vehicle survival kit. Most people don't have one they have possibly a first aid kit but never anything like it. You guys should definetly check it out if you have a car and travel anywhere with it. Check out this Vehicle Survival Kit from the Right Thoughts Blog and post your thoughts.

New Car Search Engine
Wednesday, November 15, 2006
I've been covering search engines for a while and since I'm looking at maybe getting a car when I graduate I've also been looking at some car sites. Most of the car sites I've seen haven't had very good car search engines but AutoIQ.com aims to change that. They have one of the easiest to use car search engines I've seen, pretty much up there with a local one I used to use in Canada (camhebdo). Me personally I've always loved Honda Civic's since they're great on gas, parts and even if everyone has one, including my dad, they're always well received.
I tested out a search on a used one around Brooklyn, 2005-06 years, LX model with Manual Transmission (I would get an Si Coupe but they're way too expensive) and I could easily find a good number of models with AutoIQ.com's New Car Search. I don't know what models or makes you'd like, maybe if you're well off you can search for a BMW (I love the 3-series) or maybe a Tercel for your grandma or something, lol just joking but they got all the major manufacturers there so don't worry. I honestly recommend the site when searching for a new car, you can never have enough options and AutoIQ.com is by far one of the better car search engines I've seen. Check it out!
Thanks,

Funny YouTube Crash
Thursday, November 02, 2006
Deviating from my news for the night to post up this car crash, this is pretty funny, lol. Imagine getting a brand new 07 Mustang and watching your son crash it into your house, lol. I think this guy is a big idiot for giving the keys to his kid, but I guess (hope) he only thought he was going to turn on the radio or something, or else there's no saving humanity.
Here's the vid, it's priceless (even tho I thought the car would get more damaged, lol)
Enjoy!

Pinks - Drag Racing Fanatics on SpeedTV
This post is sponsored by speedtv.com
If you live in a decent urban center, like Montreal, then you've most likely had friends who've dragged raced or soupped*-up their cars. My friends only had Honda Civics and Acura Integras but then we were only 18-19, lol, so racing wasn't the greatest. Well speedtv has a show called Pinks where they show you some of the best Drag Racing Clips. It's on that all-day marathon I wrote on my muscle, the Muscle Car Marathon of Pinks on November 23rd and it's going to be followed by the introduction of Pinks All Out. If you've seen a drag race and love it you should check it out. Here's a little video to spice up your appetite.
Enjoy!

Wednesday, November 01, 2006
This is a sponsored post by speedtv.com
Muscle cars are great, my uncle has a Barracuda and I've always loved it when he takes me out in it. I don't watch much TV but I'm definetly going to take a look at SpeedTV.com's Muscle Cars Marathon, since I've always liked looking at them. To get into the spirit of muscle cars I'm going to show off my puny muscles, lol.
Here's my muscle for the Muscle Cars Marathon.
Enjoy!
