Big News from MacWorld and CES
Tuesday, January 09, 2007
Yep, everyone knew it was coming someday, and now it's here, the Apple iPhone. There's some nice coverage from Engadget, they got pics from Steve Jobs keynote, pictures from the booth which I linked, and Apple.com has a nice picture and some specs on their website. I'm really impressed at the looks, but we'll see the battery life and how well it penetrates the market at such a high price.
As for CES, there's some nice stuff coming out, from a nice 22" Widescreen monitor from Dell, the E228WFP, there's the iRiver W10, which is a PDA/widescreen media player, and the MotoRIZR Z6. There's just so much stuff to talk about, I love it.
Alright that's enough for now, more later!

Anyone need any Dell Coupons or Deals?
Monday, November 13, 2006
I know whenever someone asks me what laptop should I get I usually point them to the place with the largest selection and a good price/performance/quality ratio and that usually ends up being Dell. Dell deals are awesome, and Cheapstingybargains.com has a great Dell coupon page that's updated hourly and has great buying instructions for those first time buyers over the web. Any Dell Coupon that you can find is money in the bank and if I needed a new laptop (I need a new job first, lol) I'd definetly take a look since you can't go wrong with free coupon codes.
Enjoy the codes,
-Steve

Heads up to those people with Dell Laptops who need repairs.
Friday, November 03, 2006
There's a shop in NC, near Raleigh called AbsoluteRaleight.com, that specializes in repairing Dell Inspiron notebooks. I've fixed a couple in my day but it was mainly software issues whereas these guys deal with the major hardware issues such as powerjacks, laptops which shut off when being moved slightly, etc. They specialize mostly Dell Inspiron Laptop Repair but can fix most major brands like IBM, Sony, Gateway, etc as well. Their rates are pretty cheap compared to the cost of getting a new laptop since hardware repairs are a flat $150, which ain't bad since laptop repairs are tricky. I'd check them out if you don't want your local tech guy to do it or can't find one locally, since they have a national laptop repair service.
Thanks,
-Steve
