I know many of you guys who read blogs probably shop online now too. It's an extension of just using the internet so why not save some money using online coupons codes doing what you'd be doing anyways. For me I've been looking around for a laptop and since I don't like Apple Macbooks the only other laptops that look asthetically pleasing are Sony Viao's. The whole Sony website has some decent Sony Coupons which can save you a large chunk of change when you're looking into a thousand dollar plus laptop. There's also some deals on other Sony products, so check it out, can't hurt right? If not check out the rest of the coupon codes on CouponChief.com, I'm positive you'll find some store you like shopping at.

Internet at work and free phone giveaway at Engadget
I'm making good on my promise to blog for two days in a row so here I am typing away. I'm finished work for the day, it wasn't too busy and we close at 1pm on Fridays so I get a nice early start to my weekends. I'm also using the computer of our secretary to blog since they have high speed and they're coming to install our high-speed on Tuesday, which cannot come fast enough.
Apart from that I did some minor bank stuff and went to school, pretty boring stuff but it had to get done.
Since I'm too lazy to write any opinions right now, I'll just forward you the link to a contest on EngadgetMobile for a FREE NOKIA N75. Yep, all you need is to post a comment and you're entered. Why not could be worth it.

I haven't heard anything new from PayPerPost in that last little while since I've been so busy graduating and finishing track while moving into Greenpoint (see previous post) I haven't checked in with Ted and the gang at PPP. Well whenever they're not trying to get more ads on blogs for us posties they're busy organizing contests to keep us busy. They've launched an event every Tuesday called HDTV Tuesday's where you cna win all shows of great prizes, such as Apple TV's, PS3's, and the grand prize and HDTV at the end of the month.
That's pretty spectacular, since they're already hooking us up with oppertunities, money for blogging and now we can earn prizes for just blogging to make money and getting lucky. I have to give out a shoutout to the guys at Bid4Prizes.com for making all this possible. I've spoken about them a week ago so check out my post and go visit them if you have the chance. As for me, I'm going to try to find that opportunity, maybe I'll get lucky and win something nice, since today I can win a Slingbox, Nintendo Wii, Yamaha Surround Sound System or a Logitech universal remote. If you don't know what those are you need to read this blog more often, but until then good luck!

Another concept, Lowest Bidding site for prizes

There's a lot of sites out there that give away prizes, some for referrals, some for playing games, but here's one with a new twist. It's called bid4prizes, and you can win a prize by bidding the lowest amount on a prize. It's like a guessing game, where you bid on prizes, and they tell you if you're low, high and etc. You have certain amounts of points which allows you certain amounts of bids on the prizes, which are ad-supported to keep the guys afloat. However for $9.99 you can get an unlimited membership and have unlimited bids, which can be worth while.
So far I think it's pretty interesting, maybe tedious trying to outguess everyone, but imagine winning a BMW 3 series (my friend has one, they are some fine cars) off the internet? Sounds like something that could entice a good number of you guys. I'm going to give it a shot and hopefully get back to you. Anyone else try it? Any opinions? Post your thoughts!

I love having a tech blog, I get to review tons of new things that I think might be of interesting, well at least to me. Today I'm looking at one of the competitor's the crown of ZIP file utilities for Windows called SecureZIP - The next generation of ZIP. It's from PKWare, the guys who made one of the original ZIP utilities for DOS. Most people know about ZIP files, that you can archive and compress information, but the thing is that now ZIP files can safeguard important information with strong passwords. That's pretty sweet and since SecureZIP integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Windows very well you can protect all your sensitive data, even the ones you email to others.
The best part about it is that SecureZIP is FREE for a limited time, all you need to do is simply provide your email address to their site and you'll receive the download link, no spam or nothing. I think it's better than having WinZip's messages annoy you all day. I've downloaded it and it's quick, easy to use and free. Can't really go wrong with that.

I'm in between my classes and I'm stuck in the computer lab yet I want to be able to login to my MSN and my AIM messengers but I can't since the computers here don't have the clients. Am I stuck? Nope, because of Web Messenger websites like KoolIM.com which have come along allowing you to signin from any Internet Browser window. That's right I'm on a locked down computer yet I can still sign into MSN, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, etc. It's simple and easy, so check it out.

I've heard of points or cash back programs but this is the first time I've seen a program which gives you US Savings bonds just for shopping with regular retailers. It's a pretty interesting concept since you save up while shopping, a bit of an oxy-moron isn't it. Sign up for BondRewards and check it out, they got some good retailers like eBay, CompUSA and Target, so it can't be that bad now?

ArcadeCow, which is a really good flash game website with over 2500 flash games. They ust have started a high score contest which could mean free money or an ipod for you guys, so I thought I might share some info on the contest. Reality Knights and www.ArcadeCow.com, a free flash games site with over 2500 free online games available to members and non-members, will be running a high score contest for Arcade Cow members from March 13th, 2007 to April 14th, 2007. Prizes will include an iPod shuffle and iTunes gift card for the players with the top five highest scores. The top player will receive an additional $30 cash prize.

It's that time of month again, and since I love shopping online and finding deals I should spread the love that CouponChief.com has been giving us. This month I'll let you guys know about this nice little online store called Ink4art which sells discounted Ink Cartridges for name brand printers, such as Epson, HP, etc. They got a pretty nice 30% off coupon on there, and since the prices are pretty low compared to regular HP cartridges, you're really saving a lot. That's the great thing about CouponChief, they're got the online coupon codes you want so you can save money at stores that don't suck, like Target, Dell, Adidas, Overstock, etc. Who doesn't want coupons from them? Busy day - Free Uploading site

Mondays are crap for me, since I generally have practice, work, practice then class, so I'm not able to write much for you guys. So instead of leaving you guys with nothing today, I'll leave you with this site I found over the weekend.
Files-Upload.com is the best free file uploading site I've seen out these. Sure rapidshare might be free and easy but Files-Upload has 300mb files or 1gb files via FTP with registration, that's pretty sweet. Great for uploading a large video or some large multimedia presentations, or a 100mb of pictures like my friends coming down to New York. Anyone tried this site out yet? What you guys use for online storage? Discuss

Something interesting, a Box.net Widget to get your files anywhere!

This is actually something useful and nice for those with myspace profiles or blogs and you want to share some files, pictures, music quick and easily. It's a widget, which is a small application that's loaded with a page or a program, like the widgets for blogger, from Box.net that allows you to display files to download on your blog. The Box.net Widget is free and can host up to a 1gb of your files, pretty amazing isn't it. I haven't finished setting up my widget, but here's one from their site to show it off.

I know I've mentioned the great cards at Egreetings.com but I know there's a couple of you out there who forgot about Valentine's Day and didn't send or call some people in your life to wish them happy Valentine's Day but there's always these free funny eCards from Egreetings just in case you forget. You've seen the funny pictures before, and here's another one from those Chins guys I spoke about before, quite hilarious, and the card to hear Cupid's best pickup lines, which I showed a little preview of before a couple weeks back.
If you want to get a membership it's free for 30 days and only $13.99 for the year, which is great if you send a lot of cards to schedule them in advance and get other extra features.

If you were like me, I had a bunch of things I collected as a kid, whether it be hockey cards, Magic The Gathering, Marvel Action Figurines and etc. Now I've grown a bit, and so have the items I've made Collectibles out of, things like Final Fantasy video games (I own every Playstation 1 and 2 FF), Lord of the Rings, my Terry Goodkind and Terry Brooks collections. You guys get the idea but what happens when your collections total in the thousands, how do you manage all those things? Well that's where iTaggit comes in, it's a web-based item management system that can help you organize, store and catalog nearly every item you own. That allows you to keep track of all your collections of various items. This can enable you to build a community based on your products, research the products others have and you don't and enjoy your stuff more since you don't have to spend so much time organizing it. Sounds like a great tool for those antique, or card collectors, I just wish I had a bigger collection to add to it.

I sent out a couple of these cards last night and I got a good response from my friends so I wanted to let everyone know that I fully recommend Egreetings and their Ecards. My lady friends loved the Valentine's Day eCard by "The Chins" and I thought it was funny too. They got plenty more free, funny Valentine's Day eCards for you guys. However if you want to send a card now and have it arrive on Valentine's Day you're going to have to get their membership. It's pretty cheap at $13.99 and you can test it out for 30 days for free to make sure it's right for you. Why not surprise them with something funnier than your regular Happy Birthday Email? The Internet's traffic comes and goes with the season and the changes in the real world. Like right now, it's nearly Valentine's Day, and for most single people, they're looking for a date to take out. That's why when a site promoting free online dating comes around it's something to look into. They don't ever require credit cards and they're trying to build a high quality site to help those people who just can't find a date. I know that everyone is thinking about Valentine's Day and who they're going to ask out or bring to their loved ones but sometimes it's the simple things that count. That's why even just sending one of these free funny eCards from eGreetings.com could just be the thing they needed. The cards, as you see in this post, can be customized and any message can be displayed. However, if you'd like to schedule sending a card in the future or access special cards you're going to have to sign up for a membership. It's pretty cheap, and they got a 30-day free trial membership, whereas the full membership is only $13.99 for the year.

Emoze : A better blackberry for cell phone users

Remember Emoze, the guys I've spoken about before who have push email, contacts, calender software for Windows Mobile 5 and other users? Well they've challenging RIM, the makers of the Blackberry, into having a contest on who has the better PUSH email software. I think that's going to be pretty interesting, a large cellphone company versus a small and free company, no wonder why Blackberry must be scared. It's going to go down at 3GSM, a large industry trade show, if Blackberry accepts.

Last year I remember hearing a lot about the offer sites where you would complete an offer and get friends or referals to do other offers so I tried it out. I wanted an Xbox to have a nice Media PC without paying for one so I tried it out. It wasn't so bad, but it involves hassling my roomates to sign up and get them to complete offers, I had to give them money to do it, lol, but they got it done for me and I got my Xbox. Once my offers were completed it wasn't so bad and they shipped my xbox fast.
Most people I knew thought it was a scam, how can I fault them, no one gets anything for free. However it's not really free since you sign up for something and become a customer for that firm. So let's say if you do those offers and sign up for a product you like you're doing everyone a favor as you're a new customer, freepay gets paid, and you can get a free items, such as a laptop, ipod, etc. It's a nice way to get free stuff, and once I educated them they were more receptive to it. Like why would anyone not want to Choose a free gift! for signing up for Blockbuster like I did.
Freepay has a couple of sites that you might want to check out, can't hurt and you might be able to get something for yourself, like ipods.freepay.com has ipods for your holiday gifts, can't go wrong with that right?
