The sad state of the LIU dorms

Yep I'm going to ran about my new home, the LIU dorms at Hoyt Street, which is pretty much an under construction prison at the moment. Well first off since things at LIU never go as planned construction started really late and well, is still going on as people are moving in. You say that's not uncommon well how common is it to have purchased 6 floors of a building yet have 4 barely are to hold tenants? The 3rd through 6th floors are done, however they're missing telephone, internet and cable, no biggie however everyone who's living on those floors are getting stuck with 4 people per room. As well the 7th floor, which was supposed to have people living there, STILL HAVE A COMMUNITY CENTER THERE, we have random people coming in and out of the building, which is great when you'll see my new point. The 8th floor is still under going construction, so there's workers in and out, and we don't have bathrooms, kitchens, or RUNNING WATER on the floor, we have to go take showers on the 6th or lower, which is great when random ppl off the street see you. So not only is the 8th floor, the floor I live on, dirty and messy, it's not ready for people yet. Why all this has happened? The internal politics at LIU I suspect, since construction started when it was supposed to be FINISHED, yes they got the permit the 27th of July when they were telling people it was going to be done on the 1st of August, brilliant.

Anyways I'm done ranting, let's see if they decide tonight to strike, will make for an interesting year.
