Some nice memorial day deals at Circuit City

Pretty boring day early on for me since I didn't have any plans like the beach or etc for my memorial day however it became a pretty good day after my friend dropped by. Right before he dropped by, I found out about Circuit City's memorial week sale where some video games were getting reduced to $9.99 such as Kingdom Hearts 2 and Fight Night : Round 3 along with Half-Life 2: Episode 1 going from $19.99 to $4.99. I literally went to 3 CC's in Manhattan to find me Kingdom Hearts 2, at $9.99 for the original non-greatest hits version it's worth it.

After that I came back, relaxed, and then went out to this dinner in South Williamsburg at 95 Broadway (can't recall the name of the place). I shouldn't say dinner since it looks cheap but it's actually a pretty expensive place, serving cheeses, fine wines, lamb, etc. I also had some Tasty D-Lite after, which is is this local Frozen Yogurt chain.

All and all a great way to wrap up this weekend, more news as the week pics up,

It's that time again - Free Coupon Codes from CouponChief

I know many of you guys who read blogs probably shop online now too. It's an extension of just using the internet so why not save some money using online coupons codes doing what you'd be doing anyways. For me I've been looking around for a laptop and since I don't like Apple Macbooks the only other laptops that look asthetically pleasing are Sony Viao's. The whole Sony website has some decent Sony Coupons which can save you a large chunk of change when you're looking into a thousand dollar plus laptop. There's also some deals on other Sony products, so check it out, can't hurt right? If not check out the rest of the coupon codes on CouponChief.com, I'm positive you'll find some store you like shopping at.

More news or free stuff later,

Verizon Wireless has been stepping up lately

I've been overlooking Verizon's lineup of phone lately, since I have quite a few friends on their service and being the knowledgeable tech guy around I get asked a lot of questions. Usually when they ask me about phone for Verizon, I shudder, since until recently most of verizon's phones have been either very business oriented or mom and pop oriented, with of course a black leather case to protect it. Now those things have changed with Verizon's new phones. After browsing Wirefly's wide selection of phones and plans, I'm actually liking the look of the Red Chocolate, almost as slick as the black, but since everyone has the Black it gets kind of old. Of course Verizon's also got the new KRZR, the enV (LG VX9900) and regular RAZR's in all colors so they have been stepping up their lineup.

I mean it has be great when you can get a Chocolate online for FREE after rebates and activation, right? Well look no further than Wirefly if you're trying to get on that deal. The rate plans are pretty reasonable, and pretty much on par with most other carriers. So if you're looking for a new phone or service, check them out, Verizon's changed, and you can get some decent phones from them now. I may disagree with the Verizon guy TV commercials, but I have to admit the enV is nice, and 3G with CDMA is nice, broadband speeds on your phone is awesome.

Enjoy,

Quick update on the CompUSA Bargains

There's a nice blog post at Infinite Loop (one of the Ars Technica blogs) about some experiences on the CompUSA store closings with some deals listed. I don't wanna steal their thunder, but there's a solid 10-15% mac/Apple stuff, with some other things. I wonder if there'll be more later, but check out the blog post HERE for more info.

Enjoy,

-Steve

Another blog of note - BuyMeBlog

Just thought I should talk about this new blog posted up by my fellow PPP postie Colleen called the BuyMeBlog. I remember getting an email advertising their first Office Depot 15% off Coupon, which is a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. She's also got a bunch of other coupons like a 20% off employee discount at Macy's but it was only a weekend thing.

It's a nice choice to have a blog for those bargain hunters like me, so enjoy and check out her blog. The URL once again is http://www.buymeblog.com.

Thanks,

Look at this, a deals site that gives away stuff for finding hot deals

I know I talk a lot about deals, coupons and etc but I've seen a new site that gets great deals while giving away free stuff. DealsVista.com is a great site on deals for computers, electronics, toys, etc, all the regular stuff. But what makes them special is that they're having a draw for free stuff from Dec 6th to the 19th. Here's the details from their site

1. Find a hot deal, such as Soyo DYLM1998 19" LCD Monitor
2. Share with your friends by email or instant messengers.
The more invitations you send, the more chances to win at that day! *
3. Check back, share more and win many. iPod Nano will be drawn from all invitations responded during the promotion period. All other gifts will be drawn from invitations responded at that day.* Winner will be annouced at homepage at 1pm PST the next day.

Pretty sweet, they don't require no registration and a purchase is not necessarily. The list of prices is on their site but it includes, iPod's, Logitech G5 Gaming mice, and more. Check them out at DealsVista.com.

Thanks,

-Steve
