Non-conflict Diamonds that support Africa

I found out about some conflict-free, Canadian (yep, from my native country) origin, diamond jewelry that's made with ecologically responsible gold & platinum. I've never heard of this so I looked at the Brilliant Earth site and saw some pretty nice pieces of jewelry that are not only but environmentally friendly. As well, 5% of the profits for Brilliant Earth will go back to Africa through the Diamonds For Africa (DFA) Fund that gives back to the communities affected by the diamond trade. There's even going to be a movie release in December called Blood Diamond that stars Leonardo DiCaprio that will also raise awareness of this problem. So check out Brilliant Earth and support conflict-free diamond and canadian diamonds at that and help Africa at the same time, while getting that nice ring you always wanted.
