Intel and Verizon team up to launch PC gaming in the living room
Thursday, November 02, 2006
To me it just seems like Intel's mad it's not making any of the next gen console chips and is teaming up with Verizon to get some publicity for its VIIV line while Verizon's trying to gain credibility with online gamers or what. They're just advertising something that's already being done. The only this that'll be new are some free private servers, VoIP intergration, and a friends list. Nothing you can't find already but might be good for those who don't have anything.
You can read the press release HERE.
Post your thoughts.
