Microsoft strikes a deal with Novell

Pretty interesting since Microsoft is admitting that Linux is here to stay by making this annoucement with Novell to have shared promotion and work on interoperability. This can be good since some of that code can help open-source users, which seem to think Microsoft is the plague, gain some MUCH needed interoperability with Windows (Linux can't stand on it's own yet, no matter what the Open-Source fanboys say) and can honestly be beneficial to both parties. Me I can see a world where both exist, and choice is good, just too much choice (way too many Linux distro's to be honest) can confuse and not help the cause. This might help that goal but who knows we'll see.

Anyways you can read the Cnet report HERE. Also don't hesitate (aka please post) some comments.
