Hosting provider performance rankings?

When I've chosen a hosting provider for my sites in the past (I'm getting free hosting ATM) I've found that they've all seem good with their 99.9% uptimes and good customer service. However is there any way to really measure up what provider has the fastest speeds or gives the best performance? A site called Realmetrics will hopefully answer those questions for you. They set up real accounts with each host and then they frequently test the performance of each. They'll measure speed, reliability, how their customer service responds, etc. This is a great site to check when choosing a host for your site or business. Check them out at www.realmetrics.com to learn more about finding the right host, since it is a tough choice when they all advertise the same thing you do want some unbiased information to make a sound decision.
